Doaba Vikas Evam Utthaan Samiti (DVUS) is a not-for-profit organisation working in India for more than two decades to bring positive impact on a broad range of integrated health and development outcomes. We work across districts/states in the country in partnerships with government agencies, private sector and civil society organisations. Our efforts are concerted toward creating an enabling environment for communities to survive and thrive in all aspects of their lives, with special focus towards the ones that are from the marginalised communities.

Our Interventions

  • Gender Development DVUS aims to bringing gender equality by mitigating barriers towards social and economic developments of women and girls.
  • Maternal & Child Health DVUS leverages community platforms to create awareness to improve maternal, newborn and child health, lower disease burden, and promote reproductive healthcare.
  • Emergency Response Responding to the COVID-19 crisis, DVUS has been working with governments to raise awareness around COVID-19, promoting uptake of COVID-appropriate behaviors.

Our IMPACT

2021 has been a tough year for all with the country grappling with COVID-19 pandemic. We at DVUS channelized our efforts towards not only sensitizing and empowering communities to fight the pandemic but also continued with our interventions for improving their health and developmental indicators.
